It started snowing this afternoon...this was my attempt to photograph a light dusting of snow closeup without my tripod and with no macro lens (need to buy one of those!).

I was trying to capture the sparkly, sugar-like quality of the snow too. But I was using a not so great little point and shoot camera. :)
