I said it looked like a used book store, to which my dad replied "...a messy one!" Ah, but that's rather redundant. A good used bookstore is comfortably cluttered.

We are in the process of moving some bookshelves and perhaps getting new ones, so right now the piano is holding some of the books.

ReplyDeleteI just organized my bookshelf when I did a major clearing-out of my room before the new year. I need to take pictures of it too! All the books are upright now, but it's packed full...and I just picked up two books that were for sale at the library this afternoon. They're going to have to go sideways! :D
ReplyDeleteI totally agree about a good used bookstore being cluttered! To me that is a huge part of the charm...all the piles of books everywhere!
